A CATALYST FOR ISOMERIZATION, PREPARATION THEREOF, AND A METHOD FOR ISOMERIZATION USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A catalyst for isomerization, a method for manufacturing the same, and an isomerization method using the same are provided to easily obtain para-xylene compounds from C8 aromatic compounds. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a catalyst for isomerization includes the following: a metal precursor solution is obtained by dissolving the precursors of one or more selected from platinum family metals and VIIIB family metals in a polar solvent; TNU-9 zeolite is impregnated into the metal precursor solution to obtain metal precursor impregnated TNU-9 zeolite; and the metal precursor impregnated TNU-9 zeolite is plasticized to obtain metal impregnated TNU-9 zeolite. The metal precursor is selected from the nitrate, the acetate, the halide, and the acetylacetonate of one or more selected from platinum family metals and VIIIB family metals.
