PURPOSE: An apparatus for rotating a shaft for honing work is provided to easily rotate the shaft with a winch having small capacity because the winch moves along a frame. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for rotating a shaft for honing work comprises a frame(10), a winch(20), and a movable unit. The frame comprises a base part(12), a vertical part(14), and an extended part(16). The vertical part is extended upward from the base part. The extended part is extended in parallel with the base part from the vertical part. The winch is installed in the extended part. The movable unit moves the frame.
