<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein authentication device having improved downsizing and thinning. <P>SOLUTION: The vein authentication device 1 includes: light sources 15 for irradiating a body be authenticated with light; an imaging sensor 13 for imaging a vein pattern of the body to be authenticated; a reflecting mirror 14 for reflecting the light emitted from the light source 15 to allow the light to reach the body to be authenticated; and a housing 11 for housing the light sources 15, the imaging sensor 13 and the reflecting mirror 14, in which the imaging sensor 13 is an unmagnification optical system sensor, and the light sources 15 and the reflecting mirror 14 are disposed within a plane which is orthogonal to an optical axis N of the imaging sensor 13 and includes the imaging sensor 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
