<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloying element-saving hot rolled duplex stainless steel material, which has superior strength, impact resistance and corrosion resistance, abbreviates a solution heat treatment, is inexpensive with less energy used and has superior environmental conservation. <P>SOLUTION: The alloying element-saving hot rolled duplex stainless steel material contains, by mass, ≤0.03% C, 0.05-1.0% Si, 0.5-7.0% Mn, ≤0.05% P, ≤0.010% S, 0.1-5.0% Ni, 18.0-25.0% Cr, 0.05-0.30% N, 0.001-0.05% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. In the stainless steel material which is just after hot rolling and abbreviates the solution heat treatment, a chrome nitride deposition temperature TN which is an index concerning the deposition of chrome nitride during hot rolling is ≤960°C, and a yield strength is higher by 50 MPa or more than that of a solution heat-treated hot-rolled steel material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
