Support for Meat Products Comprising Base, End and Retainer

A support and a blank 10 therefore for a meat product, the support comprising an end 20 connected to and forming an angle with a base 12, a retainer connected to the base and/or end to form a cavity into which a meat product can be inserted. A portion of the retainer may extend over the base. The retainer may comprise a loop formed by a pair of arms 26 extending from either side of the base or end and engaging one another by means of slots 30, 32 adjacent the ends of either arm. Two loops may be formed by arms having slots or hooks at the ends engaging slots or apertures in the base (Figure 9). The arms may have link portions 28 connected them to the base. The end may be at right angles to the base. The retainer may secure the wings or legs of a poultry product.
