A power circuit for dual-motive power locomotive with asynchronous traction motors contains an input four-quadrant converter connected to a high-frequency converter which output is connected to a high-voltage transformer which is connected to the four-quadrant converter, which terminal is connected to an autonomous inverter connected to an asynchronous traction motor. The voltage of DC contact network is supplied to the autonomous inverter connected to the asynchronous traction motor.
