<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a photographer to easily and quickly select a desired face among a plurality of faces detected in an image frame. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 comprises a CPU 71 that executes: processing for detecting the face in a subject from an image frame generated by an imaging unit 1; processing for specifying a reference face as a reference for predetermined processing among at least one detected face; processing for, based on any one cursor button pressing operation among up, down, left, and right cursor button pressing operations associated with a plurality of mutually different evaluation criteria relating to the specification of the reference face, inputting an instruction to set an evaluation criterion associated with the pressing operation; and processing for, based on the input setting instruction, sequentially setting an evaluation criterion relating to the setting instruction as an evaluation criterion relating to the specification of the reference face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
