<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance which enables a user to easily access a filter. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning electric appliance such as a vacuum cleaner (1) includes a body (2) storing a motor and fan unit (3) for generating a flow of a fluid. The body (2) further houses a removable pre-motor filter (20) located on the upstream side of the motor and fan unit (3) and a removable post-motor filter (21) located on the downstream side of the motor and fan unit. It is more important for the user to check the pre-motor filter since the pre-motor filter gets in a dirtier condition than the post-motor filter.
