Cleaning indoor wall hung fan/coil units ( 10) of air conditioning apparatus is performed utilising a cleaning receptacle assembly (30) which is suspended from the fan/coil unit (10) by an adjustable strap (37) so that a tear lip (66) or other seal (83) diverts cleaning fluids applied to indoor fan/coil unit (10) through the formed opening (33) for confinement in the lower apex portion (51 ) of the receptacle (30) which may be taken away for emptying. The adjustable strap (37) enables an operator to carefully control the upward movement of the rear lip (66) or other seal (83) into operative engagement with the fan/coil unit (10). |
