<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate or reduce faults or problems accompanying a prior art about a travel plan. <P>SOLUTION: A travel plan from a departure place to a destination place includes an establishment of selection criteria having one or more travel parameters and one or more rules. The travel parameters describe a travel restriction, and the rules determine actions to be executed according to a trigger event. A travel route from the departure place to the destination place is planned. After starting the travel, the trigger event is detected. The rules which regulate the actions to be executed according to the detected trigger event are accessed. One or more alternative relay points are selected in accordance with the actions and the selection criteria.
