<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document retrieval apparatus for improving user work efficiency by realizing efficient document retrieval and appropriate retrieval result output to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A document retrieval apparatus includes a storage device which stores structured document data, extraction phrase information containing an identifier of the structured document data of an extraction source and an attribute of the structured document data of the extraction source for each of phrases included in the structured document data, and a retrieval display system determination rule including a retrieval system and a display system for each attribute. Furthermore, the document retrieval apparatus inputs a retrieval phrase and, if a phrase matched with the retrieval phase is present in the extraction phrase information, refers to the extraction phrase information to determine an attribute of the retrieval phrase. The document retrieval apparatus then refers to the retrieval display system determination rule on the basis of the determined attribute to determine a retrieval system for retrieving the structured document data and a display format for a retrieval result, performs document retrieval based on the retrieval phrase in accordance with the determined retrieval system, thereby outputting the retrieval result in accordance with the determined display format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
