<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter that may attain, in combination with an LED light source, contrast as high as that attained in combination with a CCFL light source, and a display device including the color filter and an LED light source. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter for a white light-emitting diode light source includes at least red pixels, green pixels and blue pixels. Each of the red pixels includes, as a coloring material, C.I. Pigment Red 177 and C.I. Pigment Yellow 150, each of the green pixels includes, as a coloring material, C.I. Pigment Green 58 and C.I.
