FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: device to prepare snow mass for melting comprises a receiving hopper with a movable grid made of driving horizontal shafts. Bearings casings arranged at the ends of driving shafts are attached to each other in pairs by means of planks providing for interaction of slots in these casings with inserts placed in a frame common for the entire section of shafts. The movable grid at the same time is made of horizontal shafts with the possibility of their pairwise dismantling and is installed along the perimetre of a melting chamber, with continuous connection of shafts with individual electric drives and their non-stop rotation. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability and durability during operation, reduced labour intensiveness of operations related to dismantling, installation of driving shafts of a movable grid. ^ 6 dwg
