<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately adjust writing timing of each of light emitting parts. <P>SOLUTION: Evaluation charts are formed continuously in a subscanning direction. Then, an approximation curve generation part makes a density sensor measure density of each of the evaluation patterns of all the evaluation charts CT to calculate the average density of the respective evaluation patterns, and generates an approximation curve (or approximate expression) by using the calculated average density. A writing timing determination part determines the writing timing of laser diodes LD1 and LD2 by making use of the peak value of the approximation curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
