<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock a door on a sidewall, even if the direction of impact force applied to the door is either the outside direction or the inside direction of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The side door device of the vehicle includes: a locking body 46 mounted on the side of the sidewall 9; and a locked body 48 mounted on the door 16. When the impact force is applied to the door 16 and the door 16 is deformed, the locked body 48 is locked on the locking body 46 by the deformation. When a protrusion 48a of the locked body 48 is formed into a hook shape in a plan view of the vehicle body 3 and the impact force is applied to the door 16 from the outside direction of the vehicle body 3, one opposite edge 48b, out of the mutual opposite edges 48b and 48c at the hook-shaped inside in the protrusion 48a, is brought into sliding contact with the locking body 46 and is subsequently locked on the locking body 46. When impact force is applied to the door 16 from the inside direction of the vehicle body 3, the other opposite edge 48c is brought into sliding contact with the locking body 46 and is subsequently locked on the locking body 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
