<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately combine picked-up images taken by a plurality of cameras to prepare a display image which does not give a feeling that something is wrong and is easily visible as the whole. <P>SOLUTION: The conversion processing part 14 of an image-processing device 10 corrects, by first correction processing, the pixel data of picked-up images taken with a plurality of on-vehicle cameras 1, 2, 3 and 4 for each picked-up image according to the lens characteristics of the on-vehicle cameras 1, 2, 3 and 4, and also corrects, by second correction processing, the pixel data of at least one of two picked-up images taken with adjacent on-vehicle cameras so that the average values of the pixel data, which are the pixel data of overlapped areas and corrected by the first correction processing, may nearly be equal between the two picked-up images for the overlapped areas in which the picked-up areas of the two picked-up images overlap to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
