<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on the larynx of a patient while securing the necessary amount of air supplied. <P>SOLUTION: A device for use in a medical procedure through a natural opening is used by being installed into the patient, and includes: an over-tube which guides an endoscope when the endoscope is inserted therein; and an endotracheal tube which is used by being installed into the patient through a mouth or through a nasal cavity, wherein an endotracheal-tube accommodating section having a non-circular-cross-sectional shape and capable of surface-contact with the endotracheal tube is formed at a portion of the over-tube overlapping with the endotracheal tube while the over-tube is installed into the patient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
