OPTICAL SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which bending of a scanning line may be corrected by suppressing adjustment shift derived from error in shape or assembly of optical components and occurrence of color shift may be effectively suppressed in a color image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: A glass plate 51b is provided on a pressing side 51d corresponding to a top face of a long lens 51 used as an optical element, and the long lens 51 is pressed downward by a top face press spring 49 working as a second pressing member. A center portion of the lens on a support side (lower face) is supported by a regulation part top face 47a working as an abutting member and corresponding to a top face of a regulation part 47 formed integrally with a holder body 43 of a lens holder. A fixing member 80 of a spring plate is inserted to range between and sandwich a plane portion 47c and a top face 51c on the support side of the long lens 51.
