<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly for substrate connection which can be constituted thinner. <P>SOLUTION: A female connector 3 has an engaging hole 31 and a female-side terminal, arranged at least at a part of a peripheral face and a peripheral part of the engaging hole 31, while a male connector 2 has a bump 11 as a male side terminal facing the peripheral part of the engaging hole 31, in a state of passing through the engaging hole 31. Since the bump 11 passing through the engaging hole 31 is hooked by the female connector 3, the female connector 3 and the male connector 2 are locked, and the female-side terminal and the bump 11 are made into contact in this locking state. A female-side base 32 has a two-layered structure, with two plate members being laminated. The engaging hole 31 and the female-side terminal 35 are formed on the one plate member 33, and a housing hole 38, communicating with the engaging hole 31, is formed on the other plate member 34; and the housing hole 38 houses a projecting part of the bump 11 projecting form the engaging hole 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
