PURPOSE: A plate dryer is provided to prevent the oxidation of a plate in a heat treatment furnace in order to remove residual solvent for raising temperature within 200°C and maintaining the temperature. CONSTITUTION: A plate dryer comprises a heat treatment furnace(110), a temperature sensor(120), an oxygen sensor(130), an inactive gas supply part(140), and a controller(150). A plate in which an active material is formed is accepted in the heat treatment furnace. The heat treatment furnace comprises a gas supply port(113), and an inactive gas exhaust port(114). The temperature sensor measures temperature of a plate(111). The temperature sensor measures inner oxygen concentration. In case the inner temperature of the heat treatment furnace is within predetermined range, the inactive gas supplier supplies inactive gas. The controller controls inactive gas supplier. Active material(112) is spread on an upper side and the lower side of the plate. The temperature sensor is formed to contact with the active material.
