POWER SUPPLY UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A power supply unit and liquid crystal display device including the same are provided to decrease the power consumption by supplying linearly increasing gate high voltage according to the decrease of temperature by using a linear low temperature compensating circuit. CONSTITUTION: A power IC(160) produces a compensating voltage linearly changing according to temperature and power supply voltage. The power IC includes a booster unit(162) producing power supply voltage and linear low temperature compensating unit(164) and level shifter unit(172). The linear low temperature compensating unit produces the compensating voltage. The level shifter unit outputs a gate high voltage by switching. A charge pumping unit(180) produces a linearly changing gate high voltage by using the power supply voltage and compensating voltage.
