<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate a recovered polyester resin so that its limiting viscosity and acid value may become equivalent to those of a virgin polyester resin, which are required in an application field which requires high durability and resistance to hydrolysis, to make the recovered polyester resin used even in the application field described above. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for regenerating a recovered polyester resin, a recovered polyester resin is heated, at a temperature of at most the melting point of the polyester, in the presence of ethylene glycol and then subjected to solid-state polymerization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
