<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine island unit which allows a player to stretch his/her knees as much as possible during play. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine island unit (1) having at least two post units (200), a wainscot (104) stretched and supported between the adjacent post units is provided with a toe space or toe notch (G) enough for a sitting player to insert his/her toe or toes, while separating the lower end of the toe space or toe notch from the floor (F) of the game parlor.
