HEAT RECOVERY AND UTILIZATION SYSTEM

Provided is a heat recovery and utilization system capable of efficiently utilizing heat recovered from boiler exhaust gas with a heat recovery unit, without using complicated equipment and without high operating costs. This heat recovery and utilization system is equipped with: a boiler (11) used to generate electricity; a heat recovery unit (13) that recovers heat from the boiler's exhaust gas; a heat exchanger (21) for the purpose of using heat recovered with the heat recovery unit as a heat source for equipment other than equipment for electricity generation; a heat accumulator (31) that accumulates a supply of heat for the equipment other than for electricity generation; and a heat medium circulation line (22) in which a heat medium circulates between the heat recovery unit and the heat exchanger for the purpose of exchanging with the heat exchanger the heat recovered by the heat recovery unit. When the system starts up, the heat exchanger (21) preheats the heat recovery unit (13) with the heat accumulated in the heat accumulator (31).
