<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter removing fine particles and NO<SB POS="POST">x</SB>with excellent removal efficiency from exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb filter 100 includes a plurality of flow passages 110a, 110b partitioned by partition walls 112 and formed in parallel with each other. At one end face 100a, one end of the flow passage 110a is sealed with a sealing part 114, and at the other end face 100b, the other end of the flow passage 110b is sealed with the sealing part 114. The partition wall 112 is constituted of a porous ceramics sintered body containing aluminum titanate. A catalyst priming coating film 116 is formed on a surface of the partition wall 112 in the flow passage 110b, a porosity of a composite body constituted of the partition wall 112 and the catalyst priming coating film 116 is 30-70 vol.%, and a NO<SB POS="POST">x</SB>occlusion catalyst is supported on the catalyst priming coating film 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
