摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A steel material for a high-strength welding structure having a high-heat input welding part with high toughness and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce construction costs by welding at high efficiency because excellent property of a high heat input welding part is obtained. CONSTITUTION: A steel material for a high-strength welding structure having a high-heat input welding part with high toughness is composed of 0.03-0.19wt.% of carbon, 0.01-0.5wt.% of silicon, 0.4-2.0wt.% of manganese, 0.005-0.2wt.% of titanium, 0.1-1.2wt.% of aluminum, 0.006-0.025wt.% of nitrogen, 0.0003-0.005wt.% of boron, 0.005-0.1wt.% of niobium, 0.03wt % of phosphorus(0 is exclusion), 0.03wt % of sulfur(0 is exclusion), 0.05wt % of oxygen(0 is exclusion), residual iron, and other impurities.</p>
