PURPOSE: A WDM-TDM passive optical subscriber network remote terminal and a WDM-TDM passive optical subscriber network link protection system are provided to supply a remote terminal for supplying a link protection function of high speed. CONSTITUTION: A WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing)-TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) converting unit(141) converts a UL(UpLink) optical signal into a WDM uplink optical signal from an ONT(Optical Network Terminal). A controlling unit(143) transmits the converted TDM downlink optical signal to an optical terminal.
