The drive (1) has a plastic toothed wheel (32) and upright propellers (5, 6) connected to an adjustable element (2) i.e. sliding roof. Multiple teeth of the toothed wheel enter the propeller. Plastic gear rings are formed with the teeth of the toothed wheel. The propeller passes between the toothed wheel and the adjustable element in a curved free tube, where the propeller is supported radially by the tube. The toothed wheel is driven respectively by a motor (3) and another motor. The motors act jointly for actuating the element indirectly on the element.
