<p>Disclosed are a method and a system for measuring a neighboring cell relation. The method comprises: a user equipment UE obtaining configuration parameters configured by a radio network controller RNC and used for measuring a neighboring cell relation, wherein, the configuration parameters comprise: a recording time T of a measuring result of the neighboring cell relation, and /or, the least number N of different cells which the UE crosses; the UE measuring the neighboring cell relation according to the configuration parameters; and when time for which the UE records the measuring result of the neighboring cell relation exceeds the recording time, or, the number of different cells which the UE crosses in a predetermined period of time is less than N, the UE stopping recording the measuring result of the neighboring cell relation. The present invention solves the problem of electric power waste caused by redundant logging of the UE, thereby achieving the technical effect of power saving.</p> |
