<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing pneumatic tires formed by winding a carcass of an organic fiber cord in close contact with the outer periphery of a bead core. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing pneumatic tires comprises: molding a carcass component 5 comprising at least a sheet of carcass ply consisting of the organic fiber cord into a cylindrical shape; arranging bead core components 7 on the outer peripheries of end parts 5b in the width direction; fixing them with a bead lock apparatus 11 from the inside in the radial direction through the carcass component 5; raising the widthwise end parts 5b pressed on the side face S1 on the outside in the width direction of the bead core component 7 by using a press-contact roller 13 movable in the radial direction and in the width direction to the fixed bead core component 7; and winding the end parts 5b in the width direction along the outer periphery of the bead core component 7 by pressing a projecting part to the outside in the radial direction from the outer side face S2 in the radial direction of the bead core component 7 in press-contact with the outer side face in the radial direction at the same time when it is pushed to the inside in the width direction by a press-contact roller 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
