<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hose joint which is prevented from being wrongly operated by an external contact to prevent its joint considered to be locked from being unexpectedly separated, and which is securely connected and disconnected. <P>SOLUTION: The fire hose joint includes a socket component 5 having locking pawls 6, and an insertion component 1 having a peripheral groove, the socket component and the locking pawls are attachable to and detachable from each other. An insertion portion includes: the peripheral groove provided at a predetermined interval from an insertion end 11, and receiving the insertion of the locking pawls 6 provided to be projectable/retractable on the inner surface of the socket when connected to the socket component; a sliding frame portion 2 mounted to be slid in the axial direction and covering the peripheral groove; and a slide limiting unit for limiting the slide of the sliding frame portion 2 to a predetermined width. The slide limiting unit at least partially limits the slidable movement of the sliding frame portion 2, so that the engaging pawls of the socket portion lock in the peripheral groove when the socket portion and the insertion portion are connected, and the locked connection is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
