PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to convert recorded images using a camera to 3D image even when the mobile terminal is rotating. CONSTITUTION: A method of an image processing apparatus of a mobile terminal comprises the following steps: a camera module(401) receives a first image and a second image which are recorded at the same time through more than a pair of cameras; a motion sensor(406) detects rotational direction of the mobile terminal; a control unit(402) revolves the first image and the second image from the detected rotational direction; the control unit switches location of the first and the second images; and the control unit converts the switched images into three-dimensional images.
