PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for reinforcing a concrete structure using an S-trap are provided to stably protect a concrete structure by efficiently discharging water from the concrete structure to the outside. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for reinforcing a concrete structure using an S-trap comprises plate-shaped concrete stiffeners(110), a drainage gap(120), and a trap(140). The plate-shaped concrete stiffeners are attached on the surface of a concrete structure and reinforce the concrete structure. The drainage gap is formed between the concrete stiffeners and discharges water from the concrete structure to the outside. The trap is attached on the bottom of the drainage gap and has an inlet(142), an outlet, and an S-shaped flow path. The water discharged from the drainage gap flows into the inlet. The outlet discharges the water to the outside. The flow path is formed between the inlet and the outlet. |
