PURPOSE: A location based service security system and method thereof are provided to increase security states based on real facts and recognized information by determining right users based on a location. CONSTITUTION: A terminal location determination module(120) confirms a location of a service terminal corresponding to an IP(Internet Protocol) address and the IP address of the service terminal. A user location determination module(130) determines the location of a right user corresponding to a service request. A control module(110) controls the usage of a service corresponding to the service request by comparing a first location determined by the terminal location determination module with a second location determined by the user location determination module.
