PURPOSE: An opening and closing member for a delivery valve is provided to prevent cavitation by processing the delivery valve to control pressure characteristics of fuel injection by controlling an opening/closing time of the delivery time. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing member for a delivery valve comprises a first beveled portion(12), vertically beveled to a contact surface(14). The first beveled portion changes a fuel path. The first beveled portion is formed along a circumference of the contact surface at a constant interval. A second horizontally beveled portion is formed on an upper surface of the opening and closing member to increase a working portion. A cross section of the second beveled portion is formed into the square shape or the curve shape.
