PURPOSE: A vehicle fuel ratio information display device and a method thereof are provided to assist a driver to recognize the average fuel ratio value of a vehicle objectively through indicating a reference average fuel ratio value and an average fuel ratio value of the vehicle of the driver. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle fuel ratio information display device comprises a vehicle terminal(110) and is connected with a vehicle information center(200). The vehicle terminal calculates an average fuel ratio value by using vehicle data and compares the average fuel ratio value of a vehicle and a reference average fuel ratio value and indicates the result on a screen. The vehicle information center receives the average fuel ratio value from the vehicle terminals of a plurality of same kind of vehicles. The vehicle information center calculates the reference average fuel ratio value from received each average fuel ratio. The vehicle information center transmits the reference average fuel ratio value to each vehicle.
