PURPOSE: A control device and a method of a battery pack are provided to individually control each battery module which comprises the battery pack, thereby improving drive efficiency of the battery according to temperature. CONSTITUTION: A control device(1000) using temperature Information comprises a battery pack(100) which includes a plurality of battery modules which can be controlled individually, temperature sensors(200) which measures temperature of the battery module, a calculation part(300) which calculates difference between an input temperature and a reference temperature which determines abnormality once temperature information is input from the temperature sensors, and a control part(400) which limits drive of selected battery modules after selecting battery modules which have temperature information which exceeds the reference temperature by using the difference.
