<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured and compact opening/closing mechanism of a cover body. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing mechanism of a cover body comprises: a curved protruding portion 131 that is provided on a scanner unit 3 mounted in an openable/closable manner on a printer unit 2, and makes circle movements as the scanner unit 3 opens and closes; and a protrusion receiving portion 132 that is provided on the printer unit 2 and makes a sliding contact with the curved protruding portion 131 as making a circle movement. At least either of the curved protruding portion 131 or the protrusion receiving portion 132 holds the scanner unit 3 in an open position resisting the moment load received from the scanner unit 3 in an open state, and also allows the spring property energized in the mutual contact directions with the counterpart to function, so that a friction force is exerted in a sliding movement in the closing direction when an external force in the closing direction is applied in this open state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
