摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting device capable of easily adjusting relative position between a laser light source and a condensing optical system of a light source unit in an optical scanning device in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The adjusting device of the light source unit is mounted on the optical scanning device having a deflector. The light source unit includes the laser light source and a condensing optical element for condensing a luminous flux emitted from the laser light source and guiding it to the deflector. The adjusting device comprises: a dividing element configured to divide the luminous flux emitted from the light source unit into a plurality of luminous fluxes in at least one of main scanning direction and sub-scanning direction; an imaging optical element configured to image the plurality of luminous fluxes divided by the dividing element on a light receiving element; and an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust relative position between the condensing optical element and the laser light source in an optical axis direction of the condensing optical element and relative position between the condensing optical element and the laser light source in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the condensing optical element, based on relative positions between a plurality of images corresponding to the plurality of divided luminous fluxes formed on the light receiving element and based on positions of the plurality of images against the optical axes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
