<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Lewis-acidic solid acid catalyst which is used for producing a petroleum resin, facilitates the separation of a catalyst phase, an un-reacted raw material phase and a purified polymer, facilitates the recycling of the catalyst, and can produce the petroleum resin extremely small in the contents of fluorine and/or chlorine. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the Lewis-acidic solid acid catalyst for producing the petroleum resin is characterized by supporting the salt or alkoxide of at least one element selected from the group consisting of tin, gallium, iron, hafnium, aluminum, zirconium and titanium on a support comprising silicon, bringing it into contact with a basic substance, and then firing the resulting material to produce a complex oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
