Ranges of subject items having a reserve relation are extracted with subject items to be manufactured respectively treated as origins, and each record is stored in memory. A first flag is set in the records of the subject items for which the manufacturing status thereof signifies completion, from among the group of subject items in memory. A second flag is set in the records of the subject items for which the manufacturing status thereof signifies a status other than completion. The records wherein the first flag is set and the records wherein the second flag is set are compared, and the records wherein the second flag is set and having the same manufacturing serial number among the records wherein the first flag is set are identified. A reserve relation is extracted for the subject items which the identified records signify. The extracted records are changed to the second flag if the first flag is set therein, and the records wherein the first flag is set are registered in a storage unit as historical information separate from reserve information. Executing said process implements use of past data in a task management system for manufacturing management inexpensively, while alleviating degradation in mass data processing performance.
