<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a contact part of a second contact which is arranged on a card insertion port side and in which the tip part of a first card hits in an operation process of insertion and removal of the first card regarding a connector for a card in which the first card and the second card of different lengths are selectively mountable through a common card insertion port. <P>SOLUTION: A connector for a card has a guide face part 58 extending out diagonally downward into an opening window 54 from the deep side bottom plate part 52. This guide face part 58 does not interfere with the second card 20 of a short length, raises up the tip of the first card 10 of a long length, and guides it to the deep side bottom plate part 52. By this, the tip part of the first card 10 smoothly goes over a contact part 100a. When the first card 10 is drawn out, the tip part 15 or the first card 10 is kept supported by the guide face part 58, descent of the tip part 15 of the first card 10 to Z2 direction is gradually carried out, and the tip part of the first card 10 smoothly passes through the upper side of the contact part 100a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
