PURPOSE: An outside mirror apparatus for vehicles is provided to prevent deviation in surface roughness or portion or surface curing of a protruded clutch. CONSTITUTION: An outside mirror apparatus for vehicles comprises a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism is not pulled out by electric rotating power of rotating power transmission and a motor but pulled out by power more than the electric rotating power. The clutch mechanism rotates a mirror assembly with respect to a shaft. The clutch mechanism comprises a clutch gear(32), a clutch holder, and a spring. The spring connects a clutch unit(40) of the clutch gear and the clutch unit of the clutch holder. A clutch member(25) of the clutch gear is fixed to a gear member(33) in a rotary direction. The clutch member comprises vertical members.
