<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that reduces the accumulation of paper powder to a specific portion of a cleaning brush, and suppresses a photoreceptor film from being scraped at an edge of a sheet, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device includes a cleaning brush that removes residual toner that is left adhered to an image carrier after transfer of a toner image, and a flicker member that removes residual toner adhered to the cleaning brush in removing toner. The flicker member is configured to be variable in the amount of being pressed into the cleaning brush, and a portion of the flicker member pressed into the cleaning brush in large amount is made movable in the axial direction of the cleaning brush. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
