A negative electrode active material (90) for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a carbon material (92) which can store and release lithium reversibly; an amorphous carbon film (94) which coats the surface of the carbon material; and a coating film (96) which coats the surface of the amorphous carbon film and contains a phosphoric acid compound. |
