Lime foam composition comprises: at least 65 wt.%, preferably 70-90 wt.% of natural hydraulic lime, or at least 65 wt.%, preferably 70-90 wt.% of a mixture comprising natural hydraulic lime and cement; 0.5-10 wt.% of fibers, preferably vegetable fibers; 1-2.5 wt.% of at least one foaming agent; and 100-200 wt.% of water. Independent claims are included for: (1) a preparation of the lime foam composition comprising introducing water and the foaming agent in a mixer, stirring the obtained mixture, progressively adding the lime and optionally the cement, fibers, clay, accelerator, water reducer and gelling agent, stirring the obtain mixture for obtaining a foam density of 0.4, and transferring the obtained foam from the mixer to a storage tank; (2) a process for filling of a structural component of parallelepiped shape comprising at least one void opening on two opposite sides of the parallelepiped by the lime foam composition, comprising filling the cell partially or completely with construction component with lime foam composition, eliminating the surplus foam, and drying and hardening by hydraulic setting of the obtained construction component; (3) a construction component of generally parallelepiped shape with at least one void opening on two opposite sides of parallelepiped shape filled with the lime foam composition; and (4) a terracotta brick. |
