PURPOSE: A cleaner for a filter box n the sink is provided to improve sanitary conditions because a filter box can be simply cleaned with operation of a switch. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner for a filter box in the sink comprises a main body(2), a support(4), second and third pinion gears(P2,P3), a first bevel gear(V1), a second bevel gear(V2), a fourth pinion gear(P4), and an actuating rod(6). The main body comprises a case(22) and a ring projection(24). The case has a space inside. The ring projection is formed on the exterior of the case and supports a filter box(100) in the upper side. The support comprises a vertical bar(42), a horizontal bar(44), and a center bar(46). The vertical bar has a brush(43) in the outside. The horizontal bar is formed in one side of the vertical bar. The center bar is formed in one side of the horizontal bar and has a first pinion gear(P1) coupling inside the case. The second and third pinion gears are installed inside the case and coupled with the first pinion gear. The first bevel gear is formed in same axis of the third pinion and horizontally mounted. The second bevel gear is vertically coupled to the first bevel gear. The fourth pinion gear is formed in same axis of the second bevel gear and vertically mounted. The actuating rod is vertically inserted through a through-hole of the case, and comprises a rack gear(62) coupling with the fourth pinion gear.
