<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a construction cost in a middle corridor type building. <P>SOLUTION: A short-term axial force cancellation member 8 is connected to the lower ends of a first inner column member 2 and a second inner column member 3 arranged so as to hold a middle corridor B therebetween, and the member 8 is supported by one pile C<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. While downward short-term axial force (refer to a code F<SB POS="POST">v1</SB>) acts on one inner column member 2 or 3 and upward short-term axial force (code F<SB POS="POST">v2</SB>) acts on the other inner column member 3 or 2 accompanying the shake of an earthquake (for instance, the shake in a direction y1), since the short-term axial force is canceled by the short-term axial force cancellation member 8, it is not needed to make the pile C<SB POS="POST">2</SB>thicker than required. Thus, the need of digging a hole for burying the pile C<SB POS="POST">2</SB>big is eliminated and the construction cost is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
