A rocker switch may include a housing and an actuator pivotably mounted relative to the housing for movement between an initial position and an actuated position. The actuator may include an exterior face defining a first contact surface and a second contact surface, the first contact surface being substantially planar and disposed within a first contact plane, and the second contact surface being substantially planar and disposed within a second contact plane, wherein the second contact plane is spaced from and substantially parallel to the first contact plane.
