<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determination system for a turbocharger in which abnormality of a variable turbocharger having a variable turbo vane can be determined without using supercharging pressure of a controlled variable of feedback control. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormality determination system of a turbocharger, which includes a compressor provided in an intake passage of an engine, and a turbine provided in an exhaust passage of the engine to vary a flow rate of exhaust gas passing through the exhaust passage in accordance with operation condition of the engine, is provided with an air intake temperature sensor detecting actual air intake temperature, a temperature calculation part calculating normal air intake temperature at a position where the air intake temperature sensor is provided when the turbocharger is operated normal on the basis of an engine speed and a fuel injection quantity, and an abnormality determination part determining that the turbocharger is in abnormal condition when a difference between the normal air intake temperature calculated by the temperature calculation part and the air intake temperature detected by the air intake temperature sensor is larger than a preset rated value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
